Approximately 20% of childhood non-Hodgkin's lymphomas (NHLs) are of p
eripheral T-cell type, These lymphomas form a heterogeneous group of n
eoplasms with different clinical features and responses to therapy, By
far the most common among these lymphomas is the recently described K
i-1+ large cell lymphoma (LCL), but other types of peripheral T-cell l
ymphomas, which may rarely occur in children, include pleomorphic T-ce
ll lymphomas resembling adult T-cell leukemia/lymphoma (ATLL), angioce
ntric immunoproliferative lesions (AIL), angioimmunoblastic lymphadeno
pathy-like T-cell lymphoma, and cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL). Copy
