Abstract
The desorption process of five organochlorine pesticides from polyuret hane foam (PUF), Chromosorb, Porapak R, Supelpak, XAD-2 and XAD-4 has been studied, Acetone and n-hexane:petroleum ether (85:15 v/v) have be en compared to select the best solvent to re-extract the sorbed analyt es. Sonication and Soxhlet extraction have also been compared in order to achieve the best operatory conditions.
