Abstract
Adult Swiss outbred mice from two sources had a nearly 6,000-fold diff erence in susceptibility to mouse adenovirus type 1-induced disease. T his difference was not attributable to differential organ tropism. Sig ns associated with mouse adenovirus type 1 infection that have not bee n previously reported are described at the clinical, gross pathologica l, and histological levels.
