Abstract
For almost 20 years, the City of Cape Coral has operated a large munic
ipal RO plant. That plant has grown from a blended water output of 15,
200 m(3)/d (4 mgd) to its present capacity of 57,000 m(3)/d (15 mgd).
It provides all of the potable water for the City of Cape Coral, and t
he City's future supply will also be desalted water.
