PLATEAU-GIBBS BORDERS - CALCULATION OF SHAPE, VOLUME, AND TRANSPORT PARAMETERS

The numerical solution of the Laplace equation was carried out enablin g the correction coefficients for structural and transport parameters of the Plateau-Gibbs borders to be calculated for various values of ex pansion of the foam (volume density) in the cylindrical foam model. Th e nature of the relationship between the correction coefficients and t he volume foam density was found and corresponding analytical expressi ons are obtained. On the basis of the calculations performed the image s of nodes in the Plateau-Gibbs borders for foams with various expansi ons were simulated and obtained.
