K. Kathiravan et al., REGENERATION OF PLANTLETS FROM HYPOCOTYL DERIVED CALLUS OF MORUS-ALBA, Israel journal of plant sciences, 43(3), 1995, pp. 259-262
Plantlets were regenerated from hypocotyl callus of Morus alba cv. MR,
. Calli were established from hypocotyl segments on Murashige and Skoo
g (MS) medium supplemented with indoleacetic acid (0.5 mg/l) and benzy
ladenine (BA) (0.5 mg/l). They were transferred to MS medium with diff
erent concentrations of naphthaleneacetic acid NAA and BA for four wee
ks. Adventitious shoot buds were observed by transferring callus onto
fresh Linsmaier and Skoog (LS) medium containing NAA (0.5 mg/l) and BA
(0.75 mg/l). Shoots produced in vitro were rooted on MS medium with i
ndolebutyric acid (0.75 mg/l).
