arify the reasons to different variations occuring in the wet end of p
aper and board machines. Data from the automation system at the machin
e and from own chemical analyzers are collected and stored in a histor
y database. The data is taken from the database and inspected visually
. Mathematical tools are used in to find reasons and correlations betw
een parameters. Solving production problems by using the system is dem
onstrated with examples from practical papermaking.
