Abstract
The dynamics of a turbulent surface thermal are numerically investigat ed. An algorithm is developed, which enables one to employ the k-epsil on model to investigate the dynamics of surface thermals in a wide ran ge of determining parameters. The special features are treated, which distinguish the flow of gas in a surface thermal from that in an above -ground one.
