Abstract
The synthesis of the novel 1a-methano-11aH-benzo[4,5]cycloocta[1,2-c]- pyrrole system by acid-catalyzed cyclization of l-3a,4,7,7a-tetrahydro -1H-isoindole-1,3(2H)-diones is described.
