O. Ishikawa et al., MEASUREMENTS OF THE VISCOSITY AND THE SLIP LENGTH ON LIQUID-HE-3 AT LOW-TEMPERATURES, Journal of low temperature physics, 101(3-4), 1995, pp. 799-802
Measurements of the viscosity and the slip length are reported for bot
h the normal liquid and superfluid He-3 within the slip approximation.
We used the hollow torsional oscillator. For the normal liquid He-3 t
he slip length is shorter then the theoretical expectation and there i
s no anomaly near the superfluid transition, but the viscosity shows t
he anomalous deviation from the Fermi liquid behavior which is thought
to be attributed to the superfluid fluctuation. For the superfluid He
-3, the temperature dependence of the slip length agrees with the theo
ry qualitatively and the viscosity agrees well with the theory quantit
atively as far as the slip approximation is valid.
