Abstract
Newly established bathymetric calculation regression equations togethe r with algorithms developed by Benny and Dawson and by Stove were exam ined, compared and evaluated through their performance in mapping Derw entwater. The regression and Benny and Dawson algorithms were found to be successful, though this may be due to the integration of the local conditions into their structure.
