The spectral and kinetic characteristics of products of pulsed radioly
sis of NaNO3-Ag+ crystals were studied in the temperature interval 80-
500 K by the method of high-speed time-resolved optical spectroscopy.
It is shown that a Ag2+ activator hole center (hnu(max) = 2.65 eV, DEL
TAH-1/2 = 0. 66 e V) forms. The influence of the Ag+ ions on the effic
iency of production and annealing of matrix centers is studied.
