Abstract
It was found with ESR, optical absorption and luminescence methods tha t substantial negative deviation from additivity of radiochemical yiel d of paramagnetic centers is observed at low-temperature radiolysis of single-phase mixtures of PS (or polyvinyltoluene) and polyvinylmethyl ester due to electron capture by intercomponent electron-transfer com plex. In phase-separated mixtures of the same components the effect is not observed.
