Tg. Srinivasan et al., THE EFFECT OF TEMPERATURE ON THE EXTRACTION OF URANIUM(VI) FROM NITRIC-ACID BY TRI-N-AMYL PHOSPHATE, Solvent extraction and ion exchange, 15(1), 1997, pp. 15-31
Studies have been carried out on the effect of temperature on the extr
action of U(VI) from nitric acid medium by tri-n-amyl phosphate/n-dode
cane, measured as a function of the extractant concentration and aqueo
us phase acidity. The results indicate that the extraction is exotherm
ic as in the case of tri-n-butyl phosphate. From the data available an
effort has been made to calculate the equilibrium constant, the Gibbs
energy change and the entropy change of the extraction reaction.
