Abstract
The sequential formation of two C-C bonds by reaction of Grignard reag ents with (E)-1-halo-2-arylselenoethylenes in the presence of NiCl2 (P Ph(3))(2) catalyst provides a stereoselective synthesis of (E)-1,2-dis ubstituted ethenes in high yield.
