Abstract
A two-step method has been developed for converting dicyanobenzenes to mino-4,6-bis[(5-tetrazolyl)phenyl]-1,3,5-triazines (ortho, metha, and para isomers) via 6-bis(cyanophenyl)-2-dimethylamino-1,3,5-triazines in reasonable total yields.
