Abstract
The year 1992 marks a century from the publication of Lyapunov's origi nal work. It is of interest to analyze the state-of-the-art of the the ory of stability for delay systems, developed up to now on the basis o f Lyapunov's direct method. In this survey we give a systematic exposi tion of the recent development directions and we present a unified app roach that can be applied for the analysis of various nonlinear delay systems.
