Kk. Shiu et al., POTENTIOMETRIC PH SENSOR WITH ANTHRAQUINONESULFONATE ADSORBED ON GLASSY-CARBON ELECTRODES, Electroanalysis, 8(12), 1996, pp. 1160-1164
Electrochemically activated glassy carbon electrodes adsorbed with ant
hraquinonesulfonate species showed potentiometric responses toward pH
changes for pH range between 1 and 11, with a near Nernstian slope of
about 56.4 mV/pH and a lifetime of more than one month. The effects of
electrode pretreatment and preparation conditions, as well as the eff
ects of interfering ions on the electrode response were studied.
