Abstract
A 32-year-old woman was admitted for termination of her 6-week pregnan cy at her request. However, pelvic examination followed by transvagina l ultrasonography (TVU) revealed an adnexal mass complicating pregnanc y and requiring surgical intervention that was carried out after termi nation of pregnancy. At laparotomy, left salpingo-oophorectomy was per formed and histologic examination revealed a leiomyoma arising primari ly in the ovary.
