P. Quinson et al., FIBROUS AORTIC-VALVE TUMOR (LAMBLS EXCRES CENCE) OBSTRUCTING THE RIGHT CORONARY-ARTERY - A CASE-REPORT, Archives des maladies du coeur et des vaisseaux, 89(11), 1996, pp. 1419-1423
Lambl's excrescences are filiform aortic or mitral valve tumours. They
do not usually cause any clinical problems and are autopsy findings.
The authors report a case of a 64 year old female with an invalidating
angina in whom echo and angiographic investigations suggested obstruc
tion of the right coronary ostium by a valvular tumour. This was confi
rmed at surgery and tumorectomy was followed by regression of the angi
nal syndrome.
