R. Mesbahi et al., TUMOR OF THE RIGHT CARDIAC CHAMBERS - REG RESSION AFTER ANTITUBERCULOSIS TREATMENT - A CASE-REPORT, Archives des maladies du coeur et des vaisseaux, 89(11), 1996, pp. 1425-1429
The authors report the case of a young patient with a tumour of the ri
ght atrium and right ventricular outflow tract without visceral compli
cations but with multiple muscular and skin localisations. The diagnos
is of tuberculosis was made on biopsy of a suppurating skin lesion. An
ti-tuberculosis treatment resulted in regression of these tumours, esp
ecially the cardiac lesions, confirmed by transoesophageal echocardiog
raphy.
