Abstract
Paraffin deposition behaviour of two Indian waxy crude oils namely Rat na and Borholla crudes has been studied under flowing conditions in a laboratory deposition assembly at different flow rates and oil & cold surface temperatures. The deposition data have been quantified mathema tically in the form of regression equations. It is observed that the t ime to obtain equilibrium deposition and quantity of deposits varied w ith the test conditions as well as with the mature and composition of the crude oil.
