Abstract
A four-year-old Shih Tzu bitch died of renal failure. At necropsy, the left kidney was dysplastic. The right kidney was absent but histologi cal examination of a 2 mm diameter nodule, at the proximal end of the ureter, revealed scattered dysplastic renal elements.
