Abstract
Basal cell adenocarcinoma is a rare salivary gland tumour. A DNA diplo id parotid gland basal cell adenocarcinoma, with a low mitotic rate, i n a 78-year-old female patient is described. Total removal of the affe cted salivary gland without sacrificing the facial nerve gave a good t herapeutic result.
