S. Petrescu et al., MASS-TRANSFER ACCOMPANIED BY PHASE-TRANSFORMATION IN SOLID-LIQUID SYSTEMS .1. THE DISSOLUTION OF SOLIDS, Hungarian journal of industrial chemistry, 21(3), 1993, pp. 195-199
A theoretical study is presented on the dissolution process of solids,
based on the rotating disk technique. The dissolution is considered a
s a diffusion process with an internal source of mass. The influence o
f the temperature, concentration and the speed of rotation of the disk
upon the individual coefficient of mass transfer and on the dissoluti
on rate at NaCl and NH4Cl dissolution, in water and watery solutions,
were also studied.
