Abstract
A case of disseminated intravascular coagulopathy following ingestion of 100% acetic acid is presented. The patient was successfully treated with fresh frozen plasma and cryoprecipitate. Complete resolution of the bleeding diathesis and the disturbed coagulation tests was achieve d.
