Abstract
Pediobius smithi Ahlstrom, n. sp., is described from Scudderia eggs (O rthoptera: Tettigoniidae) on grapefruit leaves from Merritt Island, Fl orida. This is believed to be the first record of Pediobius parasitizi ng tettigoniids.
