R. Carli et al., HYDROGEN SORPTION SITES IN THE GALLIUM CONTAINING HYBRID CATALYSTS USED FOR THE AROMATIZATION OF LIGHT ALKANES, Catalysis letters, 21(3-4), 1993, pp. 265-274
Gallium species which were incorporated initially in the oxide form, w
ere all in the (+3) oxidation state in the hybrid catalyst and exhibit
ed two types of hydrogen chemisorption sites, S(Hw) and S(Hs). The str
onger sorption sites S(Hs) which predominated at higher gallium disper
sion, corresponded probably to the most effective surface configuratio
n for gallium in the aromatization of n-butane.
