SHEATHING PANARTHRITIS AND FELTYS-SYNDROM E

Authors report a case of sheathing panarthritis associated with Felty syndrom and lower limb ulcers in a 60-year-old woman, with a fatal out come. The seropositive polyarthritis united destructive features and j oint ankylosis. It is not clear wether this radio-clinical picture is an autonomous affection, a rheumatoid arthritis or an ankylosing spond ylarthritis. Nevertheless, the coexistence of destructive lesions of t he extremities with Felty syndrome leads us to believe that sheathing polyarthritis is a particular pattern of rheumatoid arthritis.
