Abstract
Comparison of the various structures obtained from a C-Mn-Nb steel wit h respect to rolling conditions and cooling following deformation in t he mill and the coil. Using torsional dilatometric simulation tests, t he sequence that makes it possible to obtain a ferritic-pearlitic stru cture without bainite with desired toughness has been fixed. Applicati on of the chosen parameters in the industrial plant has confirmed the reliability of this method.
