Abstract
Two cases of prolidase deficiency in two siblings are presented. The p atients complained of the typical clinical symptoms of the disease, in cluding chronic leg ulcerations resembling vasculitis. They were menta lly retarded, had typical facial characteristics, splenomegaly, and ha ematologic anomalies. Biochemical and morphological investigations con firmed the diagnosis. In these cases, alterations of the peripheral ne rvous system and decreased IgA levels were demonstrated for the first time.
