Abstract
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is the technique of choice to depict normal anatomy and to image internal derangements of the knee. The ove rall accuracy of this method-can reach approximately 94%. MRI can effe ctively replace diagnostic arthroscopy for evaluation of meniscal and ligamentous tears.
