Abstract
Scientific visualization has played, and will continue to play, a sign ificant role in the interpretation and understanding of process simula tions in the areas of casting and welding. This article describes how versatile visualization software makes a variety of information about a simulation available to the user. In the future, such technology wil l be applied to a wide variety of processes.
