Abstract
French South Pacific Islet are coralien ecosystems. A lot of seabirds and migratory birds are present. They can fly hundred miles, and carry pathogenic agents for them or domestic avian species (as well as for mammals and humans). Zoosanitary situation of Newcaledonia is exceptio nal. Its preservation is an important objective for veterinarians from differents organisms. The author presents zoological studies and sani tary propects for seabuds from south pacific islet. Surprise Islet is taken as example.
