The paper presents the labour market module, the income formation modu
le and the social security and tax module of the dynamic cross-section
al microsimulation model NED YMAS. With this model it is possible to s
imulate (future) social security benefits and contributions. Compariso
n with the actual figures shows that the model reconstructs the socioe
conomic development in the field of wage income and social security be
nefits and contributions very well.
