Abstract
A detailed experimental study is presented on the temperature and appl ied magnetic field dependences of the magnetoresistance (DELTArho/rho) of the strongly anisotropic NdRu2Si2 antiferromagnet, for temperature s near the Neel point (5 x 10(-3) less-than-or-equal-to\(T - T(N))/T(N )\less-than-or-equal-to 10(-1)). The data are analyzed in terms of the available theoretical models describing the effect of the critical sp in fluctuations on DELTArho/rho near T(N). The field dependence T(N)(H ) is also investigated.
