Abstract
Malignancy is a cause of membranous glomerulonephritis. We report a pa tient with an otherwise asymptomatic squamous cell carcinoma of the es ophagus whose presenting manifestation was membranous glomerulonephrit is and nephrotic syndrome. Perinuclear anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic ant ibody was positive. This is the first reported case of perinuclear ant i-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody associated with paraneoplastic glome rulonephritis and nephrotic syndrome due to esophageal squamous cell c arcinoma.
