Benchmark problems are solved with the steady incompressible Navier-St
okes equations discretized with a finite volume method in general curv
ilinear co-ordinates on a staggered grid. The problems solved are skew
ed driven cavity problems, recently proposed as non-orthogonal grid be
nchmark problems. The system of discretized equations is solved effici
ently with a non-linear multigrid algorithm, in which a robust line sm
oother is implemented. Furthermore, another benchmark problem is intro
duced and solved in which a 90-degrees change in grid line direction o
ccurs.
