A series of adducts resulting from the coordinative interaction of RSn
Cl3, R2SnCl2 and R3SnCl (R=Me and Ph) with 1-[(4-methoxyphenylimino)me
thyl]-2-naphthol have been made. An X-ray crystal structural study of
the trimethyltin(IV) derivative has been carried out, and IR, NMR, and
Mossbauer data for the various are reported. All the adducts involve
Sn-0 coordination.
