Abstract
The association of intracranial hypertension and arteriovenous malform ations is described in two patients. Both patients had the typical cli nical features of pseudotumour cerebri and were found to have intracra nial arteriovenous malformations on arteriography. The mechanism of ra ised intracranial pressure in patients with arteriovenous malformation s is discussed.
