Abstract
The squeezing properties of the radiation field in a micromaser are an alyzed. In particular, we consider the effect of finite Q on the stead y-state squeezing inside the cavity. We also discuss the effect of pum p fluctuations on squeezing and show that the regularization of pumpin g may lead to an increase in the steady-state squeezing.
