Abstract
Two flavonoids, kaempferol-3-O-rutinoside and rutin, were tested on no rmotensive pentothal anaesthetized rats for cardiovascular activities. Kaempferol-3-O-rutinoside showed a remarkable decrease in systolic, d iastolic, mean arterial blood pressure and heart rate, whereas rutin d isplayed no effect on any of the above mentioned parameters.
