Abstract
The mechanism of np-pair transfer in backward elastic pHe-3 scattering has been investigated on the basis of 4-dimensional nonrelativistic F eynman diagrams. Agreement with the experimental data in the energy ra nge 0.9-1.7 GeV has been obtained in the framework of this mechanism, taking into account Glauber rescatterings in the initial and final sta tes.
