Abstract
Cs3FeSe3 could be synthesized by reaction of caesium carbonate with ir on and selenium in a stream of hydrogen. The crystal structure was det ermined from single-crystal diffractometer data (space group Cmca, Z=8 ). The atomic arrangement is characterized by edge sharing [Fe2Se6] do uble tetrahedra separated by caesium ions.
