A physical model of heat transfer by bodies in a high-temperature and
high-velocity heterogeneous flow is constructed by generalizing a larg
e volume of empirical data. The studies embrace the range of Mach numb
ers 2.6-4.2 and the range of Reynolds numbers (calculated on the basis
of the diameter of the model and the stagnation parameters) 0.4-5-10(
6). The dimensions and concentrations of the disperse impurity are var
ied from 20 to 250 mum and from 0 to 1%, respectively.
