RADIATION CONVECTIVE HEAT-TRANSFER IN A FILM OF SCALE ON THE CHANNEL WALL OF AN MHD GENERATOR OPERATING ON PULVERIZED COAL

The formulation of the problem, the method, and the results of calcula tions of the dynamics of and heat transfer through a scale film on a c ooled wall are studied for the conditions in a full-scale magetohydro- dynamic generator. It is shown that in order to determine the velocity , temperature, and thickness of the film and the heat losses through t he channel wall it is important to take into account the semitranspare ncy of the scale.
