Abstract
On the background of a discipline overlapping research project of the ''Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft'' (DFG), entitled: Pollutants in gro und water, the behaviour of PAHs and triazine herbicides during the wa ter gathering process by means of underground passage was investigated . The publication is divided into four parts (I-IV). In the present pa rt the area of investigation including the monitoring network and the determination methods for PAHs and triazine herbicides in the aqueous matrix are described.
