Abstract
Respiratory protection with maintenance free respirator and regular bi ological monitoring with the measurement of zinc protoporphyrin for on e year period not only made significant decreases of biological indice s indicative of lead exposure (blood lead, delta-aminolevulinic acid i n urine) in a storage battery workers, but also reduced the prevalence of lead related symptoms.
