Abstract
Many dentists use resin primers and adhesives to prevent post-cementat ion sensitivity of teeth restored with crowns. However, little informa tion is available regarding the effect of these resins an crown retent ion. This laboratory study concluded that two popular resins, Gluma De sensitizer (Heraeus Kulzer) and One-Step (Bisco Dental Products), had little or no effect on the retention of crowns luted with zinc phospha te, glass ionomer or resin-modified glass ionomer cements.
