M. Maaza et al., STUDY OF THE HYDROGEN DIFFUSION IN SUPERLATTICES BY GRAZING ANGLE NEUTRON REFLECTOMETRY, Physics letters. A, 181(3), 1993, pp. 245-250
This paper deals with the possibility of studying H diffusion in a sma
ll depth range ( almost-equal-to 80 angstrom) with grazing angle neutr
on reflectometry. This new optical and nondestructive technique allowe
d us to follow the evolution of H in small period superlattices with a
small annealing temperature. To illustrate this, a superlattice of 10
(Ni-TiH(x)) sputtered on float-glass is studied. Variations in both ne
utron refractive indices of Ni and TiH(x) layers, the period and the n
eutron reflectivity of the stratified medium were observed.
